Fun is Heading Your Way With Hedbanz™ Electronic!
The perfect family game night is heading your way with Hedbanz™ Electronic! If your family is anything like mine, sometimes the idea of a family game night is better than the actual experience. My kids will fight over what game to play, what the rules are, who gets to go first, not to mention informing me that they would much rather be staring at their phones! But when I pulled out Hedbanz™ Electronic the other night at a family birthday party, there was no complaining at all!
We started off by dividing our group into two teams. Each team chose a person to wear the headband first, and that person chose three cards , but of course didn’t look at them! When we were all ready we pushed the button on the “Electronic Host” to find out what we would do to help our teammate guess the card they were wearing.
You never know if you’ll have to:
- Ask it – where the person wearing the headband asks “yes” or “no” questions to figure out the card.
- Describe it – where the teammates all talk as fast as they can to describe the word on the card.
- Act it out – where the teammates act out the card like a game of charades.
Once a player either guesses the card and pushes the button on the “host” or runs out of time, the other team will have their turn. At the end of the round the Electronic Host announces the score and the teams each choose a new person to wear the headband.
My family enjoyed this game because it was good for a variety of ages. My kids are 8 and 10, but the adults enjoyed playing as well. Because it’s a team game, children don’t get frustrated about not having the same skills as the grown-ups. The cards are all either people, things, or animals, so there’s a frame of reference for making a guess. We also liked that the game moved quickly and was different every time, so no one got bored.
As an added bonus, the Hedbanz™ Electronic Host can also serve as time-keeper if two people want to play in the traditional manner of figuring out the word by asking “yes” or “no” questions. My kids wanted to play the game again the day after our party, but I was making dinner and my husband was at work. I showed them how to switch the game mode and they had a great time playing with just the two of them.
If you’re hoping to have some family game nights this holiday season the don’t turn in to family game fights, I would definitely recommend Hedbanz™ Electronic!
