Love Hunt: Married Edition
Awhile back, I posted a fun little game you can do with your younger kids that was perfect for Valentine’s Day: a love hunt game. Well…I’ve revised it now. For adults. For you and your spouse. Enjoy. Really…enjoy. 🙂
The Premise
This game is really easy. You will “hide” hearts all over you body. And your spouse has to find them. Simple. If you want to spice it up more, you can require a kiss on each heart. You get to decide how involved each finding has to be. A Choose Your Own Adventure of sorts.
The Paraphernalia
Pieces of parchment paper
An ink pen
Moistened washcloth
The Process
Draw hearts with the ink pen on small pieces of parchment paper. You get to decide how big or small you want. I aimed for about a dime-sized heart.
Decide where you want to “hide” your hearts.
Once you’ve chosen an area, place the heart paper ink-side down on your skin.
Moisten the back of the paper with the wet washcloth, just as you would a regular temporary tattoo.
Carefully peel off the paper to reveal your heart.
Repeat for as many hearts as you (or your spouse!) desire.
The Pay Off
We all need a little inspiration every now and then. And this a fun love hunt is an easy way to spice up your normal routine. Not only is it easy to execute (I was surprised how well the ink transferred. The hardest part was trying to take a picture!) and fun for your spouse to “discover”, the ink cleans up really easily. You can have your playtime at night, and when you shower in the morning, no one is the wiser. That is, except you and your spouse. And that is a beautiful secret to keep.
