Easy Apple Tree Craft
Yesterday was a rainy Monday morning and I needed some kind of a project to entertain my 2 year old niece. This was was a simple project that she had fun helping with, and I know her mom will enjoy displaying it!
- To start with, I drew a tree trunk onto a blue piece of paper, along with a couple branches sticking up. I would have cut a trunk out of brown paper, but the silly package of construction paper I have didn’t come with any brown. Someone needs to make a trip to the craft store.
- I cut a piece of green paper into strips and then stacked the strips up and cut them into squares and triangles.
- I helped my niece put glue on the blue paper and then she places the green leaves. I think it helped that the glue was purple so she could see where to put the leaves.
- We finished the project but adding some DIY dyed pasta as apples. Two years ago a made trees with my boys and had them dip their finger in red paint to make the apples.
Hooray for Fall!
