Play: Easy Easter Egg Decorations
It’s almost Easter (hooray!), but I thought you might want some quick ways you can get your house ready for the celebration. Both of these decorations took nearly no time at all, and they are easy enough that even toddlers can help or do it themselves.
So first, here is an easy Easter egg garland.
I saw some garlands on Pinterest that involved stringing a ribbon through holes in the eggs, but I did not feel like threading something through tiny holes that many times. So, I just clipped them onto some ribbon. Easy peasy.
I used these cute mini eggs that I got from a dollar store and spaced them so that I could get a decent sized garland for not many eggs.
I cut out some strips of construction paper (scrapbooking paper would be better if you want to preserve it for longer). Then I drew an egg shape on a piece of cardstock. I filled in the egg shape with glue from a glue stick, and then I asked my toddler, Sebastian, to place the strips of paper all over the egg.
The original post was to place the strips vertically, like mine.
But I kinda like the mish-mash of directions that Sebastian did with his.
And there you have it. Two easy Easter egg decorations.
So, how do you decorate for Easter?
